It's through Fidelity. They do offer a S&P 500 index, not sure about the total stock market. There is a way to invest in other stocks, beyond just a limited list of funds. I've used it - but I'm sure others here can go into more details about what you can and can't invest in.

No expert here but I'll take a crack.

The broker is Fidelity.
The DC money can be invested in all the same options as money you contribute from your pay. As of last year, the money is all combined.

Yes, there is the S&P 500 index. There are quite a few other "core" options as well. Bond funds, money market funds, "target date" retirement funds, etc. etc.

There is also a "brokerage link" option that lets you invest in nearly any way you dare. Individual stocks, Puts/Calls, nearly any mutual fund, ETFs, gold, silver, and all the rest.

There ARE some restrictions but they are what most of us would consider highly exotic investments. If you have to ask, stay away. :D

Good luck.

Just a small correction, you can't trade put and/or call options as an individual trade but you can sell covered call options, using stock in your portfolio as an income strategy.

With this $30mil grievance payout, do you think we could just have a drawing and ten random pilots get to retire early with $3mil a piece? This sounds better to me than just getting $30mil/12600 pilots, or however the numbers work out.

It's like credit card roulette but a whole lot better. I am in.

I don't trust Dalpa to administer that drawing.
