Its kind of fitting that one of the guys who made this L&G thread what it is today is now probably going to be the deciding vote on a document that will determine all of our fates for many years to come.
We're not going to see another negotiating environment like this for a long long time. Maybe never. What we do on this contract is going to determine the career trajectory for a lot of pilots. Not me so much. I'm old. acl65pilot is young. I think its appropriate that the future generation have a lot of influence. This is going to be a tough call. Connect the dots for us acl. |

It's not a tough call, AT ALL! We will know shortly if certain reps will do what is obviously best for the pilot group or are vulnerable to the arm twisting, shenanigans of the entrenched insiders.
I am hoping they will show some internal fortitude, but am not encouraged . |

With this $30mil grievance payout, do you think we could just have a drawing and ten random pilots get to retire early with $3mil a piece? This sounds better to me than just getting $30mil/12600 pilots, or however the numbers work out.

Time to dust off a few from yesteryear...hope that I get the chance to ammend these to an changed outcome...

My prediction: In 3 years, a lot less DAL pilots, stagnation, w2's near what they are today for most pilots and a lot of "we didn't think they would do that" Isn't it possible that at least some of the "insiders" might be right every once in a while? Can we at least read the TA before we (predictably) decide that it sucks, the sky is falling, and every yes voter is a wuss? |

Boog, you wrote this in 2012:
With respect, you (and the reps who you said told you this) were incorrect. Isn't it possible that at least some of the "insiders" might be right every once in a while? Can we at least read the TA before we (predictably) decide that it sucks, the sky is falling, and every yes voter is a wuss? And if it sucks, can you come back here and say just that? That maybe the "outsiders" might just be right once in a while? Let's hope that Donatelli's published promise of "historic" is kept. |

JV Payout
With the JV payout...has the company come into compliance with the agreement?
