The NMB looks at market comps. They don't say 'well delta really has been messed around more that other airlines, and they make more money as a company...here delta pilots, here is an extra billion a year'. They look at competitor rates, what the market currently bears and you get that.

You are conveniently leaving out the fact that American Pilots have a pension.

Frankly, I don't see the benefit of speculating. It really is amusing and pathetic at the same time to watch those that talk about "winding the watch" going right into DefCon 5.
