I thought they were moving to Vegas because of some rules issues. (Yes, I know way more about that than I care to admit. There was a story on the news when I was in LA recently)

Porn star karaoke. There's a bar in Burbank where they all go to sing after their shoots. It's a hoot.

Uhhhh, how about passing along the name of said bar?? More than likely a few of us could find that useful.

Buzz of you could post that in lax ops. That. Would. Be. Awesome.

Buzz kill. See, thought you were referring to the newer female FA getting hired and placed in LA. Thus, the area code comment.

Looks like we'll still see healthy numbers of area codes.

That being said, ask me sometime over an adult beverage about the crazy stories from an ex-flight attendant. Particularly the ones that she'd been subject to on the JS about coworkers nocturnal behavior and what they were doing to supplement income.

Thought they all prowled around the Valley?

It certainly is troubling that, for an "historic" contract...the only "historic" items we're hearing about are concessions.

In any case, I predict the forum servers will melt down with the massive sales job we'll see, starting at 9:01 tomorrow morning.

We agree, then: it is troubling indeed that the only thing we're hearing about is concessions.

As far as sales jobs and servers, I wouldn't worry. They've been able to handle years of massive sales jobs, from the DPA, guys who want to be more in charge, guys who want to make sure they get credit for pulling back on a vote, etc. if they can handle PD + Carl vs. Harwood, we're good to go.

Now, if you want to talk about the former ALPA Hangar Talk mysteriously crashing on Friday afternoons when something big was going on, those are servers that needed a lot of attention...

If you see NewK walking around with the 1000 mile stare/iguana look and a bad case of the shakes, it's because he sat behind me on the J/S for the VOR 13L into JFK with the wind gusting to 190/32 kts.

Sweet Jesus! I might have seen you try an ILS in in calm winds, and I'm still waking up screaming once in a while ;)

(Not really)

It is always nice to see what the rudder pedals do once in a while. Do they still have all those nice blinking lights in the backyards of Canarsie?
