I was just wondering why there are so few rumors, and none positive. How do the +'s never make it out? If someone is leaking, why not leak enough to have a comprehensive view of the deal?

Yes I do, because that is plenty of time to recall the necessary LEC reps, sack MD, have the new MEC chair issue terminations to the Politburo, and find a competent NC to replace the one we currently have. We might be able to even begin negotiating again at the amendable date :D

Maybe there just aren't that many plusses. No "wow" items. Maybe 8033 is as good as it gets.

It certainly is troubling that, for an "historic" contract...the only "historic" items we're hearing about are concessions.

In any case, I predict the forum servers will melt down with the massive sales job we'll see, starting at 9:01 tomorrow morning.

There is no sales job. There is nothing to sell yet. And then...at least from me all you will hear are facts about what is in the TA.

I am hoping that by publishing facts and allowing the membership to debate this in public, amicably, and discuss in private with family; we will help give everyone the best opportunity to understand the new TA and vote it up or down as they see fit.
