If an AE is posted 8/1 closes 8/11 earliest conversion is 9/1. Your freeze ends 8/27. You can bid and be awarded an AE
Thanks!

On another note, can spouses park in the non-rev parking lot, or do they have to have a emp ID?
Very nice, that's what I figured, thanks for the extra detail. I am sure all the 73N bases will want to get in on the action, it will be interesting to see how crew skeds flesh out the mix, or whether its primarily LAX and SEA guys flying the trips...

I wonder if the trips will be built as 2 leg 3 days worth about 11 hours with the 24 hour layover and red eye home? I hear those aren't too desirable from a pay stand point...

Also, I am guessing the loads will have to be regulated. I am not sure how a fully loaded -900ER will take off out of Kahului/Maui with a 6995' runway and fly for 5.5 hours to the west coast with step climbs along the way. I guess we will start with HNL and go from there.
From what I heard the 737s will be replacing the 757s on some but not all of the Hawaii routes. So I would expect to see the 737s starting out with mostly HNL and any other of the longer runway airports - Kona perhaps?

Correct, that is why the company is keeping 75 757's. That leaves them plenty of airframes to handle performance limited routes.

The good thing is that if they try to make it too punitive, it hurts the company too by creating a water fall of training.
Do you really think they will punish themselves by creating extra training and under staffing the 777 and 330?

New guy here.

What can a first year guy plan to credit on average? I know it varies across fleets, but ball park?

Can reserves Green slip?

Thanks.

Ballpark, 75-85 hours/monrh, depending on lineholder status, commuter status, willingness to work on days off, etc. You can greenslip on x days(days off)and that is straight pay above reserve guarantee for time flown on xdays.

Well, I didn't at first. But then Mr. Anderson said they where going to cancel the E190/73-900 order [because we didn't vote in the TA]. The 40 737-9's were replacement aircraft anyway. BFD. I agree that it wouldn't make sense to induce the cascade out of spite, but then again, they could post an ugly TA to knock us back on our heels, and then make a few small, positive (for us) adjustments over the next few months to lessen the training impact for them but still have us in a psychological state of uncertainty.

What can I say, I'm married to an Italian woman. I know how this can play out.

Ha! I hear that. Seriously though, they have their hands full dealing with last minute marketing changes, and don't have the 'luxury' of punitive staffing. It will be really interesting to see if they can keep the operation going on all cylinders as training picks up and the regionals dump more flying to mainline that they can't staff. Hopefully they don't end up leaving money out there or worse, have to cancel flights due to a lack of pilots available to fly the schedule. Both have happened before.
