Certainly with the known fleet plans Delta will be able to reduce our number of departures to Europe using EASK. During that time we will replace most of our 218 seat 767's with 287 seat A330's and some 320 seat A350's. If the 777 rumor turns into reality we may see more of those in the transatlantic market.
The situation with AF/KLM is fluid because they are in deep trouble. Their current plans are to downsize aircraft size however they may now cancel the 787 order. They are however in deep trouble. I hope RA has a plan B for European feed in the event it all collapses.

That is completely wrong. Once a trip is on your line you are fully pay protected. It does not matter how the trip gets on your line. You can pick up a trip via swap or WS and it can noop 1 minute after you acknowledge it and your protected.
GReenslips are however a different animal. If the trip no ops or a portion cancels it is treated as a WS. It becomes pay protected for both pay and credit however you do not receive double pay.

I got a 1 Day GS the day of the power outage at LGA. Within 30 mins they called me back to cancel it. Pay protected on single pay. 20 mins later I got called for a 2 day GS. It was like a GS and a half! Ended up being 27 hour 2-Day!

Does this happen often?

I was originally awarded a 3-day trip starting Oct 31. Today I check iCrew and the trip is now a 4-day extending into Nov 3. The rotation number is also different that originally awarded.

It seems odd to me that I'm being awarded flying so far into the next month. But hey, I'm still a new guy.

Also, where can I check the rate I'm being paid? Just trying to get a grasp of how much I should expect every two weeks. I miscalculated by $1000 on this last paycheck. I've checked the pay statement in iCrew, but it says that my Sept pay summary is unavailable.

Thanks.

Spill pairings (trips that transition months) can and, often are, changed before the next bid package is published. Some people avoid those trips for that reason. You'll see your new rotation at the end of the Nov bid package and it'll indicate that it is replacing your previous trip.

Just in case it was missed yesterday, we officially beat last years profit sharing and we still have a full quarter to go.

2014 profit sharing $1.085 billion

2015 Q1=$136 million, Q2=$411 million, Q3=$560 million, total YTD=$1.107 billion

The end of DST may also affect those Oct C/O trips.

It is boundless, thanks though that helps. I should have asked separately if legs are cancelled from a gs, are you protected? I think the answer is no from your reply, cheers

I initially blew my stack over this part of the TA. Then I read every word of the change and thought about it "in context." In the end I didn't think the proposed change was bad and was more likely neutral to potentially good. Apparently you and I were in the minority on this issue vs the rest of the Forum crowd. We can discuss and agree/disagree on a lot of the stuff posted, but the earth isn't flat and this industry changes. Another note that strikes me. For all the bee-atching about JVs and Scope..... Who has more really large jets? And who has the strongest JV partners... who also have a bunch of really large jets? AA-BA-JAL, UA-LH-ANA, or DAL-AF-N/A? I truly think we are harmed by having weaker partners. Hmm. Have a nice Sunday Yall, I intend to. OFG
