What is a "FDS" Password? What is a FDS Account?

FDS = Flightline Data Service or something like that. It's a third party provider to connect to the DAL mainframes that I want to say dates back before the intrawebz. .

You have to have an account with Flightline to use EZbid and the rest of those programs. Plans vary from something like $3/mo to $10/mo I think.

I bought a new laptop last month with Windows 10 and can't get Easybid to load. I don't think they have it compatible for W10 yet. If you're using W10, you might be hosed.

I had EZ Bid on my laptop, upgraded to Windows 10, and it still works.

Maybe it's my firewall then...I've tried loading it 3 times and when I run the setup wizard, at the end it just keeps spinning and then tells me setup wizard is not responding.

Had a few friends recommend EZBid a while back. I've been using by the Navtech desktop version. Just wondering what others think. Are there things that EZBid can do that the desktop version cannot? I heard that it'll give you an end of the year summary for taxes, which seems like a good enough reason.

Is the website through flightline.com?? Thanks in advance.

Easybid is decent enough, to get the year end perdiem, you have to pay them and it takes several weeks. I started using prodiem for that and they get it to you in a few days.

The only worthwhile feature of Easybid, in my opinion, is you get easy swap for free. If you are relatively junior, after your schedule comes out, in about 10-15 minutes you can put in blind swaps for better trips and sort exactly which trips you would prefer flying instead of your own. Those swaps sit in Icrew all month and if a trip hits open time during a pcs run that you've put in for, it will snag it for you. It's a great tool for improving your schedule that doesn't require a lot of work. QOL, baby.

Yes, that's the website. It also prints out the neat little trip forms with your flight number and frequencies and such on them. Or, you an just use a pad of paper "borrowed" from the hotel room or a piece of ACARS paper to write on.
Used to use EasyBid, but every time they come out with an update to Navtech, it doesn't work with EasyBid right away. Finally gave up and just use Navtech now. As for taxes, check out Expert Per Diem Calculation Service Pilots Flight Attendants. Works well with icrew.

I had some similar issues. I was using Windows 8.1 and every time I tried to "save" it and then run it, it would just spin (tried it in Windows IE and FireFox). When i just "ran" it instead of saving it...loaded right up.

Might have just been my computer that did it that way, but that is what ended up working for me.

Thanks fellas. I heard about easy swap. I'm about 65% in category and end up pot swapping probably 50% of my trips. I'll have to look into it a bit more...
