Felder is part of the documentary. If you even just like music, this is not to be missed!

Minor point but I highly doubt there will be arbitrators but there almost certainly will be mediators based on SD's letter.

Arbitrators are basically "judges" (one picked by ALPA, one picked by the company and the "neutral" who actually decides the case because the other two almost always cancel each other out). The arbitration panel listens to the case presented by both sides and then renders a decision which is virtually unappealable (just ask the Alaska pilots back in 2005(?)).

Mediators are more like touchy feely marriage counselors. They can make suggestions but their suggestions are not binding.

Regardless, I have no doubt that Richard will stay true to his word this summer that Option "B" will be a much slower route. Think I am going to need a bigger popcorn bucket for this show. 😆

Dude - that is a huge point! Totally different processes.

Not everyone agrees with that. I myself love that. That would be the first trip I would pick up at 7 hours of credit. I like those inefficiencies paid to me while on the beach on overnight. If I wanted to work 7 hour plus days like Southwest I would have went there.

But I'll add that if it's inefficient because of long breaks at the airport then that part does suck.

If it's the 2013 Eagles documentary on NetFlix, it's a great watch!

I had a sick daughter last week and thought I turn on something I wouldn't get too deep into - 3 hours later we were both sitting there into it (she's 20 months old).

I too like "inefficient" trips (the aforereferenced one was my 1st choice) but you completely missed my point which was that SD was "complaining" about inefficient use of pilots vis-a-vis our December proposal and I was simply pointing out the fact that they do it to themselves with rotation construction that has 7+ hours of trip credit. (And, for the record, I hope the 24 and 30 hour layovers continue).

Yea, I saw that on a great doc done by Showtime. Felder got hosed! It's sad what money does...

It got all muddied when he say down at the table and realized he was on the same side as the 2015 MEC. The confusion got worse as they realized SD was on the correct side of the table and the MEC was on the wrong side. But they couldn't figure out a solution since they both felt like they were supposed to be on the opposite side of the table from the pilots.

Rumor is it was a big mess and nobody wanted to fix it.

:D ;)

What forgot to bid encounters in the sim after he says "heading select" instead of "select heading" or tries to takeoff with the parking brake on for the 1000th time:

Approaching 400 feet...

Great recommendation, I really enjoyed that documentary.
