Happened to me years ago. Coming back from Europe to ATL, I had asked for the fish, 'no fish left' is pretty much the standard reply, but I thought I'd try. We arrive in ATL and as we are getting our stuff to get off the airplane, I see one of the FA's in the galley fridge, cramming foil wrapped stuff into her bag. I look over her shoulder and guess what?

It's the FISH!

I'm sure her cats enjoyed it....

Another trip, ATL-Narita, my landing, I get up from crew rest and ask for a cup of coffee and a couple chocolate truffles, to get my blood sugar up and my brain functioning full speed for my one landing per month, maybe. The little Japanese speaker tells me there is no more chocolate, "All gone, so sorry". Hmm... that's odd, they usually have boxes of the stuff left over, but ok, I'll do without.

So after we land we all go out to the crew bus, I'm sitting in the back and as I see the same speaker getting on, she stops and chats with the driver in Japanese, then reaches into her little black carry on bag, pulls out a gallon sized clear plastic Ziploc bag, full of chocolates! She hands them to the bus driver and makes her way to the back of the bus, sitting right in front of me.

I tap her on the shoulder and say, "I thought you said all the chocolates were gone?".

She replies, "After you leave, I find another box..."

Yeah, sure you did.

Meals on 717? Are you kidding me? With 30 min turns everywhere you're lucky if you can grab $9 sandwich at the ATL kiosks. Every day is 5 legs and 10 hr layovers. So everyone above about 10000 SN should go to the ER or Bus because the Mini Dog sucks.... ;-)

I hear tell endless left over meals in NYC on 717. Just ask. All the Florida turns. :p

Does anyone have a link to update ALPA texts after a category change ("Your Categories Preliminary Awards have been awarded ...")

Obviously the crew scheduling spreadsheet isn't official. Having said that, I noticed a discrepancy between my reasons report award and the prelim schedule.

A rotation was awarded to me on the reasons report, but it showing on someone else's (senior to me) schedule, and I have a different rotation in place of the one I was awarded.

Any ideas? I'm waiting on the official schedule but just wondering how often this happens and what options I have to get it sorted out (I really wanted the rotation in question!)

Until they're posted in iCrew, the schedules aren't official. As for the rotation in question, you may have really wanted it, but if a senior pilot got it, I'd say the correct pilot was awarded it.

Anyone have info about logistics/TTP's getting between JFK & EWR? Had a F/A mention something about an ID90 site to buy tickets? Is that the FlyZed site for listing on OAL's? Or was she referring to ID90.com?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Elliot
