Hey guys. Is there anyplace online where you can view a fellow crew members actual schedule flown? Just wanted to get an idea of how much flying guys are getting on reserve in a certain category. Thanks.

You can also look at Reserve Availability List in ICREW for a general feel of how much flying/short call pilots on reserve are doing. Works best towards the end of the month.

Where in icrew can you see this?

Same way you would look at yours, but you enter someone else's employee number in the field where your own defaults. Your viewing of their schedule will appear on their schedule.

I know this is random, but I am currently with 9E and hoping to get on w/ Delta down the road. I realize it greatly depends on what equipment you're on, but what is a typical day at Delta? What I'm asking is how many legs do you guys average a day? I was talking to a Delta guy awhile back and he said it's kind of rare to do 2-3 legs per day so I wanted to see if there was any truth to that. Again, I don't know what equipment is going junior right now or anything like that.

It's all over the board. I could be up to 5 legs on the 717 (rare) or 1. No matter how many legs you are flying a day here, it is much better than flying the same legs at a regional.

Figure 5 block hrs per day roughly. 1 long leg or 5 short ones depending on your category. The company will minimize credit as much as possible so if you are on a longer haul plane you can expect fewer legs but more time zone changes.

There is no "typical day at Delta" because the various fleets operate differently. With that said there is a typical day for most fleets. Every fleet will have some 1 leg days - even the 717 but here is more of what can be expected.

WB International - 1 leg and then at least 24 hours off - sometimes longer.
WB domestic - Usually a 1 leg Transcon but sometimes a second leg thrown in on some fleets.
757 - Mostly 1 or 2 legs.
737 - Probably the most varied flying because it is the bridge between small NB and WB flying. Many 3-4 leg days but plenty of 1 and 2 leg days also. West coast to Hawaii (for now) and also LAX-SAN.
Small Bus - Very similar to the 737 but perhaps a few less Transcons, no Hawaii, so perhaps averages more legs than the 737.
Small NB - MD-88/90, 717 - Multiple leg days are the norm but the 88/90 has some 1 leg days.

Bottom line - No DAL typical flying but there is fleet typical flying.

OBTW - When you do find the fleet that perfectly matches what you want to fly - don't bother bidding it, by the time you train the bid package will have totally changed. :D

Not an east coast thing. He's got the 737 and 757 descriptions flip-flopped, in DTW anyway.

Yes for more than 3 legs. - I am in LAX where 4 leg days are pretty rare but plenty of 3 leg days, mostly 1-2 though. :)

737 in DTW is typically 1-3 legs a day, I can count on one hand the number of times I've done 4.
