It is when it closes, not when it comes out. I think it will close in January because they want to use a 365 day conversion window due to the DC-9 retirements. I think they have already used their one 365 bid for this year.
Anyone have an update on this? Just last month on Ed's online chat he said they would retire the 30/40's over the next 18 months. That would keep them flying through 2010, yes? Do you think they'll staff to have them gone, and just hire if they decide to keep them longer? Can they even plan that far out?:p |

I don't know if we should be so critical of that picture. First, we need to understand what the pilot is trying to actually do.
Clearly, the answer cannot be "land". |
