.
I don't understand. I did a full course earlier this year, lot better than 59 (not that it shouldn't have been better). Can you show the math?

I didn't check the pwa, so maybe this was score one for the good guys!

I'm not sure why we can't have 5+15 for every training day. That works out to 100 hours for a normal initial qual. I work more days in a training month, I should get more pay!
thats what happened to me about a year and a half ago, and a buddy about 2 months ago with the PB days.

You should have picked up some help on bidding. You should have bid a high time line with all trips in the training window. Say 82 hours at that point. Now if you have 3 2 day off periods in that time you were scheduled for the required 11 days off. 5 before training and 6 during. You decide however to pick up a 4 day trip on 1 to 4 oct. You get 22 hours for that trip. Plus you get 4 payback days in your bank. Now you are getting 104 hours plus 4 payback days worth at least 5:15 a day later. Value of the month is now 125 hours give or take.
The fun really starts for you in Nov. Get smart on how to bid and you will kill it if you have training or shadow period spilling over!

Edit: since the pickup is voluntary not sure on the payback days for the WS. In my case the 4 day trip added was IOE so I was awarded the PB days.

I don't think you understand what you are saying, nor what you are trying to explain. There was no way to bid for a high time line during my training window since it was already blocked out for training in the pre-award. Shadow will be a strategy like you're talking about here, but that is simply not possible with blocked out training.

I'll be interested to see about the PB days...right now it's not showing any.

I dropped the trip on the 1st in lieu of trying to snag a Europe trip on the 2nd or 3rd to finish out my time on the 330. Again, you don't appear to understand what you're saying... that was a PBS awarded trip, not a WS.

Let's see if I can make it clearer for you, sailing: My entire IQ footprint is in OCT. Only one shadow day on the 31st, which I was unable to do anything with...

24 days of 20TR for 59:53. You can't do any sort of trip overlay in PBS for blocked training. That holds true for both IQ and CQ. 59:53 is less than 2.5 hours a day. To be unable to admit this is at or near the bottom of the industry is to have your head firmly in the sand.

Clear enough, sailing??

I think I get it. You should however still be able to fly a trip the first 5 days of the month if you desire. Even better if you have the pickup grab a carryout trip at the end of this month with credit. I am also unsure why you could not place a carryout trip on the last day unless you are fairly junior in category.

To any Pay Guru out there. If you can help clear this up for me I'd appreciate it.
If you have reserve Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and they call you before that on Sunday and say they have a green slip 4 day starting on Monday carrrying into your Reserve days, do you get 515 for that one day of green before you start Reserve or only block for that day that you fly? Thanks guys.

Nope, you don't... It's like you're not even paying attention.

The gripe is the fact that a full school only pays 59:53... that is at the bottom of the industry for pay and not even 2.5 hours a day. Do you understand?

Like I said earlier, I dropped the GIG trip because I didn't want that to be my last 330 trip. I'll snag a Europe or HNL over that time period instead. I wasn't able to get a carry as that would have put me above the LCW due to the GIG trip. I'll play the shadow game in Nov, anyways.

Block for that day only. Not sure about the PB situation in that case. You'll get at least one, but might get a partial too, not sure.
