1) No seat lock/category freeze for an MD.
2) Yup...22.F.12 says you can be reinstated without regard to standing bids of senior pilots if the company subsequently posts a vacancy with an earliest conversion within 6 bid periods of your MD conversion. |

10 characters If they were violated after that revision, ok. But if they're violating guys for ignoring every minutia in the FOM, we're going to have a lot of pilots taking government-mandated vacations. Is your FO wearing a regulation belt? |

Not just them... some were resistant to it. I've always handed them the briefing guide with the name I prefer to go by as well as the FO and circle the flight time. (not Captain Hollywood level, but hey).
It's not that hard to give us their names and the code... plus it's codified in their book (and now ours) for them to give us that and their jumpseat positions. A crew got violated not long ago for not knowing where each of the stews were. The crew today gave a little pushback on it but, hey... what's done right is what is done right. |

The crew was violated because the stews didn’t sit where they were supposed to. No one sat next to one of the exits because he/she didn’t want to sit facing passengers. This happened on a flight with an FAA person in the back who witnessed it. I’m sure the pilots had no idea this was happening. The solution is for the flight attendants to now tell us where they will be located.

I have a hard time believing the pilots were violated. Violations are becoming increasingly rare these days.
