This is my first time using my bank. In Mar I've done one 1-day GS (worth about 11 hours).

On the bank page it shows "avail deposit credit" of 7:32. Before the GS I was just over the ALV. My question is, why can't I put the full value of my GS in my bank?

And then when I decide to use my hours from the bank later on how many can I use? It says to fill up, so can I only use it if I'm below ALV to get up to ALV?

Thanks guys.
You can use a maximum of 5 hours of bank towards hitting the GS trigger. Often worthwhile to ensure as much of a GS as possible (ideally the whole thing) actually pays double.

As to the other question you had, you can withdraw up to ALV +5 to a max of 82 hours for the bid period. PWA 12.N.4
Thanks, very helpful.

Are you allowed to personal drop a trip that ends in the next month if all days in this month are good staffing?

Reference PWA 23. I. 9. (And Note 2 under it, which applies before the next months lines close).

Thank you. For anyone else who has this question, as long as every day that is in the current month has proper staffing and the next month doesn’t begin with a holiday, you can drop it

...it depends.
You originally asked the question on a date that the April bids were already closed. Once that happens, it then looks at the next months coverage also.
Prior to the bid lines closing it assumes all days have adequate coverage.
As you mentioned...the holiday rule always applies.

So apparently we can't do eSV self-assessments on Macs. Even our company-issued ipad.

Delta IT for the win.

No doubt...should of spent more time and money to make the iPad a usable format for training instead of that stupid sky hub.

Having recently dealt with this issue for an IQ on the 7ER after a 3 year absence from Delta, I was caught off guard. I thought IT would have come a long way while I was out. Solution: bought the cheapest PC laptop at Costco (Dell). About $400 with a 90 day return window. The hardware was pretty nice ... awesome display and great sound for a portable computer, probably superior to $2000 computer from 2 years ago. But it was running Windows 10, which sucks by the way. Back in the Windows XP era, I was Windows competent, but this new philosophy of app or app-like interface is truly lame. If the M.S. folks think their fancy tiles and other pretty display elements are giving Mac a run for the money, they need to think again. Basic functions required a learning curve that did not benefit from my former PC competence or recent Mac utilization. But I digress!

The effort to buy a returnable PC was not worth it. The self assessment was ok, but I’d say knowing the LOD inside out is good enough to pass the real eSV.

Looking forward to the day we can use whatever computer to perform Delta tasks. FWIW, the 2019 #1 QCQ program ran just fine on my Mac & Chrome, despite “system requirements” stating otherwise. Maybe we are heading in the right direction.
