per the bulletin and airway manual, KEF/PDL cannot be used for establishing the Atlantic qual, only to extend an existing one.

If no joy there, then use the the ACE for Unions app to submit to ALPA: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ace-fo...s/id1555906324
Thank you, will do!

Well... that's old gouge. Annnnnnnd... only 2 legs on a TOE are needed as well regardless of international experience.

Not sure if official yet, so tifwiw.

well, that bulletin is dated 18jun and is the most recent official word, so under current practice, that’s the case. If it’s not official, it’s not current practice wrt OE requirements.

Do nothing until the trip shows closed on the time card. Normally when they close it is when the pay is added back. If not contact CS. If no satisfaction call or email contract admin at the union.

that totally could be true. Lots of things are in the works. But for someone asking about current policy, calling current manual guidance “old gouge” is a disservice to our peers.

Just following up here as I’m currently on the Europe trip with OE on it I was asking about earlier. The senior FO got bought off the trip and we went as three. I talked with the LCA about it and he said as long as the trainee has a 767 landing during their domestic OE they can release a guy. Otherwise all 4 guys go. Also to note they didn’t release the senior FO till day of and after check in.

I think my question was not specific enough and y'all seem to be talking past each other, both potentiality correct. Thanks for the point out on the bulletin And AM, I don't think that info used to reside there.

As I read it, a captain can't use KEF/PDL as an IQ or RQ. Doesn't address FOs on OE that I could find. So I think you could be bought off a KEF trip, but I do not know if in practice oe schedulers don't use it; I don't see anything "letter of the law" prohibiting an FO getting TOE on a KEF/PDL trip.. So no need to fight, you both win
