You can, it was more TIC than anything. Just stating that most of the rabble rousers will go North in some fashion.

Weather sounds great.

The weather IS great, if gray is your favorite color. Add to that the 40 knots on the tail at the outer marker like we had yesterday morning, and right away, you can see just how much fun that can be had.

Coming from a guy who didn't just pull his garbage out in it.

Short staffed, but will reserve judgment for the D22 report. They have not determined if they "will" We have about 150 guys that want to return from furlough bypass.

I hope we stay with the min staffing until we have a better picture for growth. I miss being a solid line holder and having greenslips/assignments galore in the summertime.

I would also like to see all of the metal out of the desert and see us finish our cabin upgrades as planned. If you look at our cabin upgrade plans, it will position us well ahead of almost all players in the domestic market.

We are also making more good changes to the international service as well in b-elite. Should be good. If we can just get the lazy old NWA crews to stop serving from their carts on the 330, we will be good.

I'm still surprised we are planning on putting lie-flats in the ER. Should make crew rest better. From what I hear is that the 330's are getting equipped for ULH flying as well. Have fun with all that 'premium' widebody action boys. I'll take central Europe in the summer.

You cover all three, but your "promptly available" call-out is measured from EWR, LGA or JFK, your choice.

You figure out what to do with your flight bag - some carry theirs home, others leave it in JFK or LGA.

That's how we roll in LA with LAX, SNA and ONT. Gotta take the flight bag whenever you go home. You don't wanna be surprised with the 3 hour commute (or cab ride) from LAX to the next base. The trips are ok, the distance between the bases make NYC pale in comparison.

Agreed, and I can tell you that, we need to get that stuff done. We also can add a ton of bodies if we brought that metal out of the desert, and utilized it all like we were in 2007. Lots of organic growth without the need for new jets. Start adding jets in 2012-13 and life will get interesting quick

Grew up in it, and do not mind it. Got the wife to sign on to MSP if she does not have to work, right away..... I know how that goes.

It actually feels warmer when it is 10 out than when it is 40 out. ATL cold just cuts through me, but I will be shoveling snow and the parents house in 20 degree weather in a T-shirt

Where exactly do you see this "min staffing" you speak of? Up in NYC on the 88 we are WAY overstaffed. I flew with a Reserve captain last week who had not flown since mid October.....and I had not flown since early November up until that trip. We are not at "min staffing" at least on the 88 in NYC:cool:

That will change do not worry. You will be complaining about never being off. Ying and Yang.

Except that the people in the LA base WANT to be there....cannot say the same for those in NYC.
