You'd better hope he doesn't win the Heisman. That's the kiss of death when playing in a National Championship game. (Or, at least the kiss of playing like crap and your team losing the game.)

As many of these types of awards have become, it's a lifetime/college career achievement award. The Big 12 conference was way down this year, especially the defenses. Texas out of conf. schedule was extremely weak this year also, La.- Monroe, UTEP, Wyoming and Central Florida! When he played a good defense, when it counted, he struggled. I think he lost the Heisman with that poor performance against Nebraska.

ah another hater, how unusual  You're right all those awards weren't deserved and the College Football Awards committee has no idea what they're talking about. Maybe you should write them and teach them a thing or two about College football and the players they analyze for a living. ;)

If Super was here he'd be jumping up and down about this.

And I'm not a McCoy hater. Its just Super isn't here to stop the hate. When he gets back I won't hate anymore.

How Low can you go?

What (in everyone's experience) is the lowest percentage to make sure you will be a lineholder? Just selecting lineholder is the "company's best guess". It seems to be 75% would "almost guarantee" you're a lineholder. Anyone else use a better number?

Thanks!!

Someone said 11am. Even though I'm very interested in the AE, I ain't getting up early even if it was coming out at 8am. It would still be there after breakfast.

Oh, and for anyone thinking of bidding DTW, it's 10 degrees F and windy. Windchill is -6. And it's not even winter yet. :)

75% would be a safe bet. But you may need to be a bit higher than that to ensure you don't get the "seasonal" reserve. IE when the winter months come in you don't want to slip back to reserve.
