I hope this helps strengthen your thread. I know that for me, at least it feels like the changes are slowing down a bit and maybe, just maybe I will be able to get some of my head out of the water. :)
- Select your phone and bring up the keypad (as if going to dial a number) - Type in the vru phone number - Hit the bottom left button (+person). This will create new contact. - You will see the line that has the phone number that you just inserted, select the page over arrow (>) on the right hand side of that line. - Now, in the lower left corner you will see a button marked "+*#" hit that - Next press "pause" - Next enter your 6 digit employee number and * - Next , hit pause again - Next put in your password - Next enter the pound button (this will end your long string of numbers and characters) - Lastly, hit the save button on the top right corner of your screen. This works great for calling the vru, however sometimes the password doesn't take and I get rerouted to someone in the 767 training deptartment (always get his voicemail). Just try again and it usually goes through to the VRU. Hope this helps, |

It is basically a break down of how you would type the letter if you were texting on an old school phone. For instance, if you wanted to text the letter "L" you would have to hit the 5 key three times. Aka '"L" equals 53. The only exceptions are on the 4 letter keys and in those cases "q" is 11 and "z" is 12. Clear as mud... |
Thanks Wasatch Phantom, I agree the -9 is fun to fly especially going into small places like TVC or LAN. Going to stay on it as long as I can, but hopefully either DTW will be the only DC-9 base in a year, or DTW will get MD88/90s to offset some A320s potentially going to ATL.
Does anybody know if the MD-90 has the range to do west coast stuff from DTW, ie fly DTW-SAN? Thanks, BV |

Tried but no better result. Still get 1 step away from checking my schedule and then a page full of "SimpleAccelerator" plus a bunch of numbers..... What am I doing wrong? The light blue top bar shows up but when I select "current schedule" it gets all screwed up, except for the top blue bar...

The way I read this, is this month your on the usual DAL-N schedule and next month you'll be on the DAL-S schedule. I assume that means they'll skip the 1st check for us then but i promise not to tell if they pay us that one as well ;) |

Thanks, BV You will quickly find that "ACL" is the guy on here who somehow has the inside knowledge about fleet plans, bases, AE's and such. He says he's only putting the dots together, but normally when announcements are made, he's called it on here 2-6 weeks prior. There are other guys on here who get good gouge, too. But, he is the most consistent. If you find him a picture of two lizards doing it with their privates blacked out, I'm sure he'll tell you what you want to know. (Don't ask) :D |

Thanks, Johnso29 called payroll this morning and they told him that all NWA guys would still get paid on the nwa system until January, meaning that the 27th check will be our last under the NWA system.

Nope, the last check from NWA will be on Jan 13 according to payroll. That will include our December per diem.

Sorry you and others had to endure furloughs. With that guy or any like him, I would have sicked out/gotten off the trip. Your 'mental distraction' would have made a safe operation difficult. Welcome Back! |
