So did they put the FAs at the hotel with you when they are at the airport layovers?

We have the same long and short LAYO hotels. The FA's generally only fly 1,2, and 3 day trips and have much shorter overnights than we do. Because of this they are generally at the short hotel. If they have a long LAYO too, they take the van to the hotel with us.

Philly, 400+ MD's off big jets in ATL will take any educated guess work and throw it out the window. There are trends etc, but in the end with 12000 pilots there is just no way of guessing where you will end up if you are in the bottom 15% of any seat.

Heyas,

So, really, if everything we negotiate from the company costs 10x a much as it really worth because they have to give it to the FAs, then I say let them unionize.

Until then, we'll never be out from under them.

With the new RLA rules, and all the disruptions in ATL from the time moving around, I'm willing to bet AFA has more than a 50/50 shot. The way I heard it, the ATL FAs were REALLY upset when the 747 started flying ATL-HNL.

Um guess what, they do get a meet too for those hotels. They just do not normally have the layo times we do.

Why do we state it? Because it is true.

Ok. I didn't know that. I'm sure the NWA FA's would be none to happy to hear that, because they weren't staying with us, even with the exact same layovers. They seem to think it's a Delta Pilot's Wives thing. :D

Nu, the 40-50 FA's that did that every week were just lost, they did not know what to bid. They did not know how to do any other service except that flight. It was funny/sad when you flew with one of them. They were totally lost.

I think it is best we stay out of their union drive. They will do what is best for them. I do not care what they do or do not do. I do not care what they cost, that is between them and the company.

The whole point of the FA me too, was to explain the extreme resistance to a new commuter policy. It is just what the company has stated to us. Furthermore, it is the truth. What we take years and negotiation capital working on, they will get just because a few months later.

Has anyone ever caught a mistake on their award? I missed a line by 1 number. The guy junior to me got one and he was affected by denial mode. It didn't say that I was in Denial. Shouldn't the computer have put me in Denial and got rid of my prefernces one by one until it got me to a line?

Maybe I'm just in DENIAL!!!
