Because if we have SOC on the 31st and not Jan first they we as a corporation do not have to break out the North and South Financial numbers. We will report for 2009 as one company. It is just like getting married the last day of the year. The government sees you as being married the entire year.

That is fine by me. Let them commute to NYC to fly the ER. It is a mad house getting here. I will be quite content commuting to MSP or DTW to fly the 320. Go exercise that seniority. :D

Yep - that's what my NWA buds say too. Also, I think there are red book guys who have been sitting in a blockholder position, who now might be on reserve. They might move to an airplane where they can hold a line.

I think this is the first of a lot of shuffling on the former NWA side. Not all will end up on former DAL equipment. ie: a DTW A320 Captain might live on the west coast and think that SLC A320A would be really nice.

True, but whether one was a captain for 2-3 years or one was a captain 7-8 years doesn't really matter. A bad captain is a bad captain from day one!

(Not saying you were, just thinking of the old crustys I flew with and learned from how not to be that captain.)
