I'd wager to say that this qoute pretty much describes a large majority of FOs who have been hired in the last 10-12 years.
Point was that being a CA is great and all but it is not the end all be all. :o |
Because if we have SOC on the 31st and not Jan first they we as a corporation do not have to break out the North and South Financial numbers. We will report for 2009 as one company. It is just like getting married the last day of the year. The government sees you as being married the entire year.

I was only a capt for 7 years......but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Got my bid in for DC-9 Captain. (-:

Most were CA's I agree with that, but most were CA's for two to three years. Now the ones that got stuck after 9-11 were CA's for 8+ years. (In the end it does not matter)

I predict the widebody aircraft will go more senior especially the A positions. Lots of former green guys that have been prohibited form flying larger equipment due to the Roberts award that now can bid their seniority. Just my $.02........

I think this is the first of a lot of shuffling on the former NWA side. Not all will end up on former DAL equipment. ie: a DTW A320 Captain might live on the west coast and think that SLC A320A would be really nice. |
