They really want us all to have heart trouble, don't they? haha...

Super, Satch bid for you and he changed your passwords so that he can bid for February for you as well. Depends on how the big game goes as to what you get.

It kind of makes a win/lose situation for you. Which is better than a lose/lose or a win/win.

Sorry, but it is not really a good attitude. We have a Union here, remember? And the Union will be as effective as we make it to be.
The scheduling doesn't have to agree to anything. They just follow the contract.

Of course I think we should FIGHT for this kind of improvement, but I'm not holding my breath.

I didn't know that was an option. But thats okay, at least its better than MD88 ATL B. :D

Oh wait, the campaign is over.

Let me restate... I like the elongagted Douglas. It sucks you in, asks, would you like a good landing today? And gives it to you. She is a mess of wires yet so simple. I can't see the nav display while sitting back but thats fine, I look over at the Captains. VNAV is fine, works great for climb and cruise but you're better off in V/S or IAS mode in the descents but at least give her a try, she is doing the best she can but just know she thinks you need to descend at 5000 fpm to intercept a .05 glide path for the remaining 50 milles. Gosh, I hope I get to keep MD88 ATL B. If not, I'll go wherever they want me to go, even if it is being a roll of toilet paper, and do so happy just to have a great job, good company, good people and knowing I might get ATL again some day. I've got nothing to complain about because I've done worse for worse companies and still know a lot of people who'd like to switch places. Displacement is a part of the game. But I will say, the MD88 is a good fun plane and while ATL is an okay town... BNA is better, TCL is the worst :D.

Although I wish they'd let us fly the MD90s and see the west coast like once in a blue moon. That'd be nice too.

Bah...She's nothing like her older cougar sister. That one's been making men out of boys for decades. Uncomplicated, and shows you just how she likes it.

But with the current reserve, almost all of pilots can commute to reserve. Sure, there are some who live on the opposite coast who can't, but they are flying past a number of bases to choose their base to be on reserve at.

Believe me when I say, I'd be glad to sit reserve at any one of those bases you say I choose to fly over. Some day I'll actually be senior enough to hold one! :)
