This better ;)

I guess they could. I would bid it non the less. You never know where these people will come from. Previously a lot of the 777B slots came from M88A positions, which resulted in a lot of training events.

Well if you look at the projected staffing level for the 73N, I think us FO's are safe. The company seems fat only on the captain side. I think...
Right ACL?

That is the way it appears for now.

From what I am being told, a lot of the plans will become a lot clearer tomorrow.

You said this yesterday - the AE was pretty straightforward, can you comment on how the plans are clearer? or did something change?

Fair enough.. I really don't care, but if you go back a few pages, some of your responses look as if they are to a question right above, when I don't think it is... muddy enough? :D Anyway, you do seem to have a good conduit into the 4th floor, so I think it would be most beneficial for all of us great unwashed if your responses were more clear... But maybe that's just me.. I am a Boeing guy after all.

So am I, and I will try to remember to do it.

It does for me. It means that DAL still believes that the economic slump may not effect them long term. Displacing people from say a 767 or 737 to an 88 is a big commitment. They do not want to do that. It is a six month conversion sans a 12 month which was initially planned. It means that DAL is taking a wait and see approach. They have to different economic models that disagree with each other. They took the middle ground. It does not mean that the AE in Feb/March will be great, it could have displacements on it. What it means is that they are not willing to commit to doing that just yet.

Our future booking are on the rise again, and this allows us to go ahead with our 09 plans with minimal modifications. That is good. We are still trying to figure out the length of our delays on the 73N's. We are also working on some other deals that could not be accounted for right now. Having a clean up, or another AE allows them that option.
