The other point to remember is that it was a small group that abused the policy...the majority did not! So we make massive changes because of a small group?

Saw this today: "LOYALTY to petrified opinion never broke a chain or freed a human soul in this world-and never will." Mark Twain

Yes, I believe we are all required to have the YF vaccine or a waiver and to carry the yellow vaccine record with the passport.:)

Correct. It will be added to your Vac record that you already have or they will give you a new card.

No biggie. Get the shot on the way home and be done with it!

Are Jepp conversion kits supposed to come with manuals? I ordered both, but only my manuals came & I have 320 requal training on Thursday.

Guess I should call, huh? Any suggestions? :o

Don't believe that everyone has to have them...believe it depends on your aircraft, also some people should not get them depending on their health and age.

acl65pilot 01-25-2010 11:59 AM

It depends on how you ordered them. I would call, but they can be done in one or two orders.

Quote from FltOps page on DeltaNet: "The Yellow Fever Vaccination Program for PMNW pilots will begin the week of January 25, 2010. To protect crewmember health and ensure international entry law compliance, all Delta pilots are required to have a documented current yellow fever vaccination or possess a documented Delta-approved yellow fever vaccination waiver."

Think that means everybody.

It means everybody. The virus used for the vaccine is grown in eggs, so if you have an egg allergy you may be able to get a waiver. That is about it....
