Two perceived wrongs do not make a right. Get on the DALPA Pilots site and go to C54 page. |

He has EARNED the trust and admiration of every fNWA pilot 10 times over. He is held in universal praise by a group (even by the people who didn't like him) that can't even agree what color the sky is. This is a lesson that should be given great heed by the current leadership. As for the SEA pilots, it is their council and they are certainly free to do as they please. I can tell you, however, that just like in ATL, their representitives carry the full support of the local membership to whom they soley responsible. That's right, the SEA reps answer to their pilots, and NO ONE ELSE. When you move to SEA, and become a part of Council 54, then you get a say, and until then, I'd guess they'd tell you to mind your own business. Nu |

You know what? I really hope not. I pray that we don't become that. I was sitting on a crew van during my first turn through MSP last month and heard and earful from FNWA FA's. I get it. It sucks. It sucks for us too. Change is hard. Get over it. You have a job. I have a job. Move on.
But where is maturity in all of this? Where is "we're now on the same team so let's make it work" in all of this? I hear and see a lot of selfish "where is mine" these days. On both sides. Christ, this is so silly. Do not go in to your respective family's corner. Work it out together. May sound dorky, but going down this road will cause a lot of issue for this group on C2012. |

Nu They are wrong and completely out of line. In the future, please inform them not to count on me. |

You're too late. They have already assumed that is the case, on a larger scale. Nu |

Ever wrote a rant for thirty minutes only to find out you weren't logged in when you tried to send it. Now it's lost!

I don't know KW but that's really beside the point. What is the point is that we have come together as the largest airline in the world. We are operating as a unified pilot group. We signed up for this, for better or worse. We have a council that is putting out, obviously, some incredibly incendiary communications. I didn't post that, someone else did. But, since I reside here and am part of DAL, I am compelled to respond.
This **** is unbelievable. If you have issues with or against the company, do so without putting it out for consumption. I'm not the happiest camper of the face of the planet either, but if I were that council's leadership, I would be embarrassed and appalled. That is emotion speaking. Here's a tip. Before you publish something, take a breath and edit it. And then take a breath again. I do and I'm published often. I don't know the SEA guys. Actually, I do know one, and this sounds very familiar. They only come off as being the most self-serving, ignorant morons on the face of the airline planet. Out. |

I don't consider this divisive in relation to the DAL south guys. I do not like how Moak choose deal with Watts and other union issues involving the north guys. It will affect who I vote for in future elections. That's all. Probably a clutural difference that you find this divisive and I do not. I do not hold any DAL-S pilot accountable for actions taken by the union officers. They(union reps) are accountable for their actions right or wrong.
I'm a south guy in training up at MSP. Training center is great, Initial Qual program is well structured and I have been treated well by every north guy that I've had contact. This is a union issue. We have a lot of work to do moving forward into the next contract. I hope we can put some of these issues aside and move forward as a group. Last thing we need to do is wind up like Washington and fall all over ourselves and not be able to accomplish anything. Put another way, with the shoe on the other foot, I'd love to sit across the negotiating table in 2012 against a divided group. I agree there needs to be changes, but lets not turn this into an us versus them. V/R, TC |
