Maybe not. I heard a rumor that the MEC might go "all in" and get behind the NWA grievances. They misjudged the emotional reaction that resulted from the decision not to pursue them so they may give Ken Watts 100% support to carry that torch to the end.

The problem is though, the contract language itself and the fact that several key guys are already on record from many months ago saying they didn't think the Delta work rules were supposed to go into effect for NWA until bid period 5. They can't really change their testimony now. The System Board would destroy them.

It will be an interesting MEC meeting.

Delta's howgozit format sucks.

Pilot Rumor Alert!!

I guess the company renewed it's subscription to World Flight for the old/renew rate (about 10% of a new subscription) for JUST IN CASE.

I guess they are running parallel flight plans to see which routes burn less fuel.

Like I said........just a rumor (but from a very good 757 fleet source)

I believe CPZ uses worldflight... that could be the reason for the renewal. However, I sure wouldn't mind changing over to worldflight. I miss the efficiency of the presentation.

If we could keep AWABS(I don't miss MGL one bit...), pick up worldflight, and modify our ACARS, I'd be one happy camper in that arena.

As far as the 757, my last trip before 737 class is tomorrow. :( Gonna miss this airplane...

Yeah no kidding!

Reading stuff on here from the reps in hiding (vs the KW letter) and wondering how it all got so misinterpreted, leaves me really scratching my head.

I have a feeling none of us wants to see this sausage link being made:eek:

I am for anything that is good for us and makes us a better company. I am sure we will see a lot of IT improvements all over the place going forward.

Enjoy the 73N. Looks like the sucker is like a video game.

Ferd;
Making sausage is kind of messy. Sometimes the final product is enjoyed better when you do not watch "How its Made!" :D

This would be SOOOO worth it for no other reason than to watch Alfa have a meltdown over it.

Ferd:

They mis-judged the MOU 7 issue as well. One mistake I can grant them. But after all the spin-up over that issue, you would have though certain people would have gotten the message that rolling roughshod over %40+ of your pilot group (who is already known for their crankyness) isn't really the way to build bridges.

JMHO....

I kinda agree, with my 4 legs of using AWABS..........it does seem to be a little more straight forward. For sure more straight forward using REAL AWABS vs the hybrid we saw for several months using MGL in a Delta ACARS. But, can anyone tell me WHY the system can't give us all 5 numbers vs 3 then doing the Rube Goldberg +40 +80 thing? You know they are in a computer somewhere because they were used in the flipcharts for Xweight.

Don't worry Clamp my son, you'll be back..........I'll keep the seat warm:cool:

Umm. If we are filling out an application, where do we go on Deltanet to find what address and phone number we are supposed o put down for Delta?

Well....Its Friday and I have not heard any bad news(usually on Fridays), so maybe we will get some good news on Monday?

ACL, give us some warm and fuzzies!!! (I know what the perverts will say to that comment, cause I laughed as I typed it)
