Ditto for you in JFK and ATL average and hour late on push back. At least in dtw they are new to the system old as it may be. You would think that in mecca (ATL) they could get it done where they know what is going on as well as JFK. Might be nice to have a computerized central load facility that does the whole airline instead of people at evey base increasing the chance for mistakes. We dumped that system years ago. And trust me we are writing it up brother because we all want things to get better.

Keenster, the problem with YOUR mind set is that all you want is the way YOU used to do it. I happen to think we ARE better and moving in the right direction. Unfortunately for a few of my fellow fNWA brothers, you included, if it doesn't say Northwest it must suck. I firmly understand that there are growing pains and that we've come light years very quickly in merging the world's largest airline. What I'm totally sick of is guys making mountains out of mole hills, turf battles out of trivial BS, and trying to draw divides where none exist. I also happen to think that over time we will take the best of both sides...When you have to make shareholders, the FAA and the flying public happy over night, you choose the expedient option. We had the large majority of pilots, therefore the expedient route was predominately the way we (DAL) did business. Do I think that will remain? No, I don't. Do I care who is the fleet captain for the 320, fNWA or fDAL? No I don't. Pick your battles dude. This ain't one!

JFK, I understand. That, however, isn't a predominately owned DAL base. Its the "world," and its NY. In fact, if anything, JFK is a JetBlue base. Complain to them. Runway closure doesn't help either. If you're an hour late pushing back in ATL, I think you've got a problem. I've been based there. With the exception of 9/11, late pushbacks were not and have not been an issue. Again, do something about it other then ***** on APC. Write a COR, call the CP, hell, write your congressman. If you haven't noticed, it is the busiest airport in the world, unlike MSP and DTW."

Lets see, I want the airline to become the best airline out there taking the best of 2 great airlines to make the best. I want the airline to become more efficient and make huge profits. I want the airline to become more safe. I want the airline to have better training. I want the airline to have the best IT out there not the worst I have ever seen. I want the beat contract out there of any major carrier. IF you call that negative then we do have a problem HOUSTON.
