This trivial shuffling of management pilots is "insulting" to you? Really?
You need to get out more.
Considering the size and speed of this merger, the team is actually functioning pretty well.
That 747 cockpit must be like some sort of 1980s red book echo chamber.
You guys are frozen in time. The rest of the airline has moved on.

You're not listening either. Please read below.

Here's another cultural difference. At NWA, we asked people to leave when it was time to "cycle." At DAL, you're ignored and your professional life is made miserable until you "get the hint." I just find that to be weasly. And as you know, I have a problem with rodents!

Dude, you really shouldn't talk about being frozen in time to a fNWA pilot. Write me again when we outpace the Amish.

Don't know what it was like at the fNWA but at the fDAL the fleet captain gig was pretty quiet. Only time you'll ever see one is if you f up in training. Otherwise, its inconsequential and nothing to get your panties in a wad about regardless of whose doing it and where they came from.

Maybe it's because you're behind your fence flying with the same guys you always have to the same places. The rest of us are flying with each other and on each other's aircraft. Management is a hodgepodge of people from all over the industry. This ain't Delta 1980.

+1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY ... can we please MOVE ON ???

As always...when the fNWA guys see something unpalatable, it's the fDAL guys who rush in like a beat cop chanting "Nothing to see here, move along, move along".

It ranks right up there with the "fingers in ears, chant 'na na na'" maneuver that I see so much....

Carl, you got a pay raise and get to bid "better bases", don't you know when to shut up and row?

That goes double for you Ferd! Your not pulling your oar hard enough!

No, what I'm saying is I don't give a **** either way. Doesn't affect my life, won't affect yours, and doesn't matter in the long run.

If we're going to ***** and moan about company stuff, lets make it count. Whoever is the guy or girl sitting in the cubicle on the 4th floor on Virginia Avenue is some really trivial stuff guys. I wager that 99% of us will never know them or even care. That's what I'm saying.

I'd be saying exactly the same thing if some fNWA 747 captain was now the fleet captain on the 73N. IT DOESN'T MEAN DIDDLY! In fact, I don't even know who my guy is. That's how much it matters in the grand scheme of things. Won't affect my life, won't affect yours and won't affect how Delta does business.

And stop dissing the Amish...they make great pies.

WEASLY, isn't a word. If you were referring to the small carnivore of the genus Mustela, of the family Mustelidae, having a long slender body and feeding chiefly on small rodents, you might have more appropriately then, referred to the person as "weasel-like" instead of "weasly".

Thank you, as always, fly safe,

This is your second or third post recently that has a very smart a$$ tone. We try to be more professional on this board. That type of behavior is best suited for Flight Info. Feel free to disagree with folks on this board but keep it civil.

That would hypothetically make for how many total?

The irony is that you rant and rave against FNWA management and the need to constantly grieve to "keep them in line". Now there are some changes to those very same managers and you are livid that the "bad boys" are leaving and won't be in a position make you grieve.

This makes my head hurt.
