Any rumors about STL may have something to do with that. Of course, STL has a number of "operational challenges" with respect to the runway configuration and design of the terminal, but I think some of those have been fixed.

Personally, I think I'd be way cool to start flexing our muscle domestically. I think I'd be REALLY cool if that meant a left seat for me in a DC-9, MD-88 or a C-Series.

I don't like international. I do like MSP-FAR, MSP-GFK, MSP-OMA, DTW-LAN, DTW-GRR and the like. It's how I'm wired.

Nu

I often commute on WN out of STL, and this is true. The number of late arrivals/departures has increased a lot over the last 2 years. It often results in late departures/mis-connects.

Air France will park Freighters

The Journal of Commerce Online - News Story
Fiscal 2009/2010 results due Wednesday expected to show deepening losses

Air France-KLM's cargo business is set to report an annual $614 million operating loss this week, according to French newspaper Le Figaro.
The cargo unit, Europe's largest, will account for more than a third of the Franco-Dutch carrier's projected annual loss of around $1.6 billion, Le Figaro said.
Air France-KLM declined to comment on the report ahead of the release of its fiscal 2009/2010 results on Wednesday.
Air France-KLM's cargo unit lost $459 million in the nine months to December 31 compared with a year earlier loss of $70 million while revenue shrunk 26 percent to $766 million from $1.07 billion.
Air France-KLM is downsizing its freighter operations following heavy loss in the past 18 months.
The airline is transferring some of its 29 cargo aircraft to its Amsterdam-based Martinair subsidiary, and maximizing the use of cargo capacity on its passenger aircraft and "combi" passenger/cargo planes.
Air France-KLM recently sold two yet-to-be delivered 777 freighters to Federal Express. It also leased three 747-400 freighters to Russia's Air Bridge.
The carrier's closest European rival, Lufthansa, lost $210 million on its cargo operations in 2009 but says it could return to the black this year if the steep rises in volume and freight rates continue.
Lufthansa Cargo increased April traffic by 13.8 percent in April from a year ago while Air France-KLM's freight volume declined by 2 percent.

Will Auburn now be the 2004 national champions? :D That depends on the BCS and the BCS said they'd fall in line with the NCAA and supposedly the national championship trophy will be stripped from USC and removed from their campus. We could be without a 2004 NC. They also say the Heisman Trophy could be vacated for 2004 and no winner, because Vince Young said he wants no part as in winning it retroactively. Reggie Bush has apologized to USC and the fans.

Now, can they strip Matt Leinharts Heisman Trophy for having been, and still being, a total tool.

Vietnam joined Skyteam.

Just remember, OJ has two things all men want. The Heisman trophy and a dead ex-wife. May not make it past the monitors!

So Super, word is SEC has talked to Texas A&M about going to the SEC several months ago. CU did accept the invitation to the PAC 10... PAC 11 I mean. Might Texas join them if they come?

Depending on what Texas does likely determines what A&M will do.

The bad thing about all of this talk of consolidation is that the SEC will become more like the PAC 10 in terms of travel. As it is now, you can go to almost any school (Arkansas is a bit off the beaten path) and go to a weekend game in your car. Start throwing (the state of) Texas into the mix, and that becomes problematic. (Could be good for DAL though???!!!) I would rather the SEC cherry pick the ACC and get UM and FSU instead of TU and T A&M. Besides... their stadiums are too small. :D:cool: One nice thing about all this talk though, it makes Notre Dame's desire to remain independent look weaker and weaker... They are gonna have to fish or cut bait.

You're just scared if the the Real UT joins the SEC the other ut will get pushed down the list for years to come ;)

Leaves Baylor up the creek without a paddle also.

I'm wondering if Texas could round up some teams out of the Mountain west to join the Big XII to keep the big XII around and add some diversity. Interesting none the less.

RJ would be a mistake. Very high costs and an unappealing product. RJs would drive customers to SWA or Airtran and we'd lose lots of money.

Well - I guess losing lots of money hasn't stopped us before, but we should draw the line somewhere!

I think Texas is the prize out there. They'll go where the biggest money is. I think the Baylors, Kansas, K State, etc will probably woo the Mountain West. Makes a lot of sense. Good football in the Mountain West and could just be a different version to keep the Big 12 alive.

The Mountain West is a lot of fun to watch.

The comedy gold here is the in 2006 the USC fans we're screaming "three peat!" but a few years later it turns out they had a big fat 0. They lost in 2006 to Texas in the greatest cfb game ever played, they've been stripped of their 04-05 bcs and I think ap nc, and the 03-04 was the ap only and LSU was the 04 champ. In fact lsu even put up a billboard in LA to remind USC that it was LSU who won the nc. :D ah, Tubbs wants I think an AP recite, OU who lost 55-19 or undefeated AUB who beat VaTech, just vote again.

I saw one commentator call this the greatest kegger day in Knoxville since they won the first BCS.

I guess it's time to go roll Toomers. :D
