That is a good point, most could not vote but some could.
Point is and was that many on here were touting what a great agreement it was, and now there is buyers remorse. The agreement was to achieve a cohesive group, I guess we are still working on that. |

Again, of the 07-08 hires who want this fixed who voted for the PWA? I am not trying to be smug, but I know the answer.

I was on probation so I could not vote. I called my rep and voiced my disagreement. His answer was "don't fixate on one item, look at the whole package" I would have voted NO!!!

There is no "line item" way to vote. You already had yours with LOA 19. Just because you vote yes on a contract does not mean that you agree with everything in it. It just means that you think that not approving it will result in something worse. Please stop throwing this question in our faces whenever someone complains about the Joint PWA. |
We couldn't vote, all of us were still on probation. That was probably why it was left as is. I raised concerns about it, but they were never addressed.

To jab: Please refresh my memory on the FNWA 07/08 exclusion. The last thing I remember about that issue was pulling up the ladder. Just kidding of course. I’m all for equality and fairness. If it means getting something changed, then so be it. I spent way too many years (I think it was either 3 or 5) on a B scale.
We are essentially on a B scale. I know what I signed up for with Nwa, it's where I wanted to be. However, once Delta hires new pilots they will receive higher DC contributions and longevity date on DOH than current 3/4 year pilots. |

Just a reminder to the '07 '08 NWA hires who think that this longevity thing is just them, NO fNWA pilot has their Date of Hire for a longevity date. All of us have an adjusted longevity date using whatever method NWA was using when we were hired. I was hired in Feb. of '00 and my longevity date for pay is sometime in June now.
On the other hand, after the first year, you spend 12 months at each pay step for the next 11 years, just like everyone else. It affected us once, it doesn't affect you again each year. Vacation and everything else seems to be at DOH for everyone now. I do understand and agree with you on the DC issue however. It is not just 200 guys, it is every fNWA pilot... |
