Rode on the bus in LAX with a fNW crew last night. I was quite comforted in the fact that the word "scope" was used a good 20 times in the bus ride by both the CA I'm flying with and the fNW CA.


edit- Also flew with a fNW group of FA's. They were wonderful! (from MSP, dontcha know!) Very considerate and professional, and had also never been on a 737... I'm not sure if they ever figured out the entertainment system. Had to send an acars to dispatch to copy and paste the thing on where to put in the lead's employee number. Now I've got it printed out in my flight kit for future times.

They shouldn't have had those 76 seaters anyway.

Can you give us a plan to accomplish that goal? Remember that the union Dalpa has no legal way to force the issue. The choice to merge the airlines would be a business decision by management. They control hiring, mergers and the seniority list. Dalpa does not decide who is merged and who goes on the list.

In addition the pilots at Comair made it quite clear that they would never except a staple. The would fall under ALPA merger policy and without question it would go to arbitration. They are not going to except a staple pre nuptial agreement.

Your calling the wrong people then. If you call contract admin they will give you the right answer every time. I have seen many totally wrong answer given on here and I have given a few myself when I did not understand something. If you want a correct answer call contract admin or post on the scheduling or contract section of the Dalpa forum.

I agree about MSP FAs. They get a bad rap for being "ice queens" but if I think back on the times I drank too much and laughed to hard on a layover.....there were MSP girls involved. In general, real nice ladies.

Not even for a 1000% raise. What good is it if the raise doesn't apply to you? And without Scope, nothing applies to you. No Scope=no future.
