You guys want furlough protection staple comair list to the bottom and get rid of there fleet and you reduce DCI further.

I'll give a +80 to scope is not for sale. There is no monetary value that can be placed to it.
Rode on the bus in LAX with a fNW crew last night. I was quite comforted in the fact that the word "scope" was used a good 20 times in the bus ride by both the CA I'm flying with and the fNW CA. edit- Also flew with a fNW group of FA's. They were wonderful! (from MSP, dontcha know!) Very considerate and professional, and had also never been on a 737... I'm not sure if they ever figured out the entertainment system. Had to send an acars to dispatch to copy and paste the thing on where to put in the lead's employee number. Now I've got it printed out in my flight kit for future times. |

I absolutely 100 percent would not let Compass keep their 76-seaters. That is relaxing scope for money AGAIN. There is a consequence written into the contract if the company does not comply. Selling that consequence for a 25 percent pay raise is unacceptable. SELLING ANYTHING RELATED TO SCOPE IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I think there are more pilots out there that think like you. That scares me.
Those E-175's are our old DC-9-10's. |

In addition the pilots at Comair made it quite clear that they would never except a staple. The would fall under ALPA merger policy and without question it would go to arbitration. They are not going to except a staple pre nuptial agreement. |

Is it bad that I get more accurate info on this forum than I do by calling DALPA?
Your calling the wrong people then. If you call contract admin they will give you the right answer every time. I have seen many totally wrong answer given on here and I have given a few myself when I did not understand something. If you want a correct answer call contract admin or post on the scheduling or contract section of the Dalpa forum. |

Happy 4th to you Ferd! Gonna miss you by a week in the ATL. Have fun. You can, of course, buy a few rounds for me with my name on them at the bar and I'll collect when I arrive on the 28th.
Thanks for your service also, even if you were an Eagle driver. I'd be all over that few rounds in your bank thing...........but I'm doing CQ in MSP. See how old fighter pilots get out of buying drinks:D Thanks for your service too, you MAC Animal you;) .........and have fun at CQ. I'm going back to my old oral technique, I just curl up in the corner and cry till they have pity and leave me alone. If you don't answer any questions wrong, they can't bust ya, right??:D Ferd |
