I don't read this thread for 4 hours and I miss 13 pages! Holy Crap!!!

My head almost exploded catching up. :p

please don't get this thread shut down. Just send those pictures via PM!

Funny thing is I think this thread is one of the reasons companies advertise on here. We are the reason the site makes money. They shut it down they would be out some money.

Wow never thought about that...can't imagine how many times a day we all hit the refresh button on this thing when we decide to log on. This thread alone has to get some major "hittage"

Just found the bunny's website. Turns out he (or she) is real passive...he died in January. Sorry to burst your bubble bunny guys. :p

This bunny ate the other bunny.

Kinda like how ATL is getting swallowed up by the other bases in this AE. (had to stay on topic)

I notice that Delta does not advertise here but I see them advertising in a lot of places. Do they not want to claim us?

I'm on the MD88 and I've done 5 overnights in MEM. And every time ... and I don't exaggerate ... everytime I've been there its been a ghost town. We were the only aircraft moving on the ramps except for a regional plane.

I checked the rosters on the scheduling website to see what the seniority numbers were at each of the NWA bases. I found that MEM is a very small base.

Superpilot ... you're suspicions don't surprise me.

All the LAX flight attendants look like this. What's so special about this one?

if you come in between banks it always looks like a ghost town. We only have 3 pushes a day, during those pushes its typically pretty busy. The flights are typically full as well, with that said, i have no idea what their plans are for next year in regards to the DC-9 base in MEM. My guess is they shift the Pilot Base to another city and Memphis will have a lot of through flights. We'll see

Just remember guys, stick to coeds. Because when it comes to flight attendants they grow old and grey and will sue for the right to do so, but a coed, by definition, stays forever young.

Got him with The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch if I recall.

Book of Armaments, Chapter 2, verses 9-21,

“ ...And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that with it Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits, in Thy mercy." And the Lord did grin and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats and large chu... [At this point, the friar is urged by Brother Maynard to "skip a bit, brother"]... And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceedest on to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Amen.

I heard Feb/March time frame from a management type. USAir has 16 330's and (2) sims, we have 32 and (1) sim, maybe it's from USAir...
I understand a new sim would take 15-18 months but if it's a used one it shouldn't take that long...

Agree. The last I heard at a LCP meeting was that nothing was in the works for a new Sim. That was in OCT so who knowes now.

And as you know, they do not disclose everything at those meetings, especially is they are still in progress.

I voted weeks ago when all the C44 stuff was going on. I wonder why all the bases don't vote at the same time. At least then, everyone would get fired up to vote together and talk about the issues tgether.

Oh, well. Back to the bunny's and co-eds. :)
