That IMHO is a flat out safety issue. Its a matter of time before it causes an incursion due to missed transmissions, etc. New deliveries have the issue fixed so its purely a money thing. Record profits, it would be a cheap fix, and one accident cancells out millions of years worth of "costs" for fixing it.

Any problems utilizing pilot resources (Icrew, etc.) on the Ipad.
Just don't be doing while you're on the clock.

That is why the procedure was changed for the A320. The pilots call the FAs to verify the cabin is ready for departure. This prevents interrupted radio transmissions.

Does that include shortcall or deadheading?

It was easier than that before, you made your approx 2 min warning to the cabin "FAs prepare for departure," if and only if they were not ready did they call you.

Most airlines have gone to the procedures you currently use... too many cat ranchers have been injured over the years before the call back to verify was started.

Okay homies, this one hit completely out of the blue. Catranchers are saying DAL is looking at a LGW base?

First I heard about it, thought I'd let ch'all chew it up and spit it out.
