Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I have heard about the mods to the maddogs. We will see if and when it gets board approval.
There seems to be a ton of JAL 744's getting their paint changed in NRT. All going out to pasture. (Not that we are getting em, just thought I would share! )
This is what over controlling a 757 and getting into PIO's look like:
If you find yourself completely out of phase with your control inputs to aircraft movement, you might be doing something wrong... and might end up as the second most viewed picture on airliners.net!

What I see is that wind sock in the background looking pretty stout - I'd say he's had in a big-ass crosswind control the whole way down, he's just starting to take it out, nose is aligning straight down the runway, left main will gently touch first (you can actually feel it start to spin up), right main is eased down, spoiler deployment, then he gently flew the nose down to the runway after a generous session of aerobraking. Those Southwest guys in the background are like, "Man! That guy's awesome!" Shortly followed by a roar of applause from the back, and beers paid by the f/o at the hotel pool.
This is what's going on here.

"...I have observed many crosswind arrivals in LAS, some a bit hairy but none quite like this one. Flight 1850 flailing wildly on approach from MSP had to abandon the effort after several steep side to side swings and and a strong upward surge. The second approach was not much better but at least successful. It is not too often I become concerned for my own personal safety while spotting! Funny just after this the DE heavy turned out the approach and was seen circling east over the valley to take the 19's instead..."
I suppose that if you log enough picture-taking time in parking lots next to runways, eventually you become a little like an honorary pilot...

Hi Rocky - I'm using the Sprint Evo, also an Android base. All the browsers I have work DeltaNet fine, including TravelNet. But once I try to get to iCrew I start having problems. I can log in but then things get all up-screwed. I hear it's the 80's programing that DAL is using. I also hear they are working on a new program that will support iPhone, Android, & BB.
Anyone else have any Android issues w/ iCrew??
Baja.

I don't do it myself, but apparently the only way to access iCrew on Android is to download the Fennec browser, which is Mozilla/Firefox's mobile Android browser. Nothing else works on iCrew in Android at the time.
Let us know how it works.
I got the Verizon Samsung Fascinate running Android a few weeks ago and have been very happy with it. I figured out how to upload (via ezbid) my schedule to my google calendar so I can view it from the phone. Works awesome. The Fennec browser works better than any other browsers I have tried on icrew. However, it still is not perfect. For some reason it will not let me scroll down to the bottom of the page and I can only see my schedule up to the 21st. Anyone else have this problem?

You mean this guy?
Back when we had ground school, the Instructor asked about a high pressure duct. I replied AFLAC! He sat there dumbfounded. Even when I told him I thought he had said "give me an example of a high pressure Duck." Yeah ... no one else thought it was funny either.

You're close. This is the caption on airliners.net:
