I dont see how that would be helpful. Get your ATP. Delta hires captains, not square fillers.

I want to know the secret behind dropping reserve days when the numbers are below the minimums. I've watched the numbers drop by three to five between the 23-26th of December. The 23rd is now 0 and it started out at 5 required 5 available. Either guys are getting the month long flu, using mil leave, or know some secret trick that I haven't figured out yet.

Nope. No airplanes left that require that. The only companies that want an FE written are FedEx and UPS.... not even sure if UPS wants it anymore.

Hey, Right Stuff is on. I can't watch football here not even the ESPN game so Right Stuff is good. That Chuck Yeager, he reminds me of me. We both have pilots licenses. I didn't know Chuck Yeager was in the movie??

What channel?

"then they built a small plane"
"and men came to the high desert to ride it"
"they called them test pilots. and noone knew their names."

"Hey Trudy, have I ever let you down? ... who's the best pilot you ever saw."

"What gus is sayin..."

Plays the bartender at "Pancho's". Asks the NACA nerd if he wants a drink of whiskey, but the guy wants some cold milk.

For a 1983 movie it sure was a good one.

I just saw the "what gus is saying" tirade. Too funny.

THERE WAS A DEMON

THEY SAID WHOEVER

THEIR EYES
WOULD FREEZE UP,

THEIR WIVES
WOULD BUFFET WILDLY WITH ANGER,

AND THEY
WOULD DISINTEGRATE UPON VIEWING THEIR AWARDS.

THE DEMON LIVED

Didn't copy that.

Hampton (LFI) where I grew up had a lot of Mercury 7 stuff all around. I think Apollo 1, the burned up capsule, sits in the back corner of a storage shed on Nasa Langleys property. Saw it on TV.

Don't forgot ALPA work.

They may not be dropping reserve days. If a trip goes into open time that day, the reserves available will drop too.
