I've heard there is upwards of 1000 NWA guys that will hit certain triggers that might make it more advantageous for them to retire next year. Not sure how many would actually do it but the numbers that are floated are for much larger retirement rates potentially. At least that's how he explained it. I have no doubt that some guys habored some unjustified hatred, but for the most part there was very few of them...and it wouldn't have mattered if they had got everything they wanted, they still would not have liked it. I would really doubt the blocking thing...to each their own.
I think most of the over 60 fNWA guys are still here because of the price of health insurance post retirement. JMHO |
