Lets get rid of the TLV for M88 B in exchange for Mesh Hats and crew meals?

Funny. I would love to keep the ALV where it is, but I am not on the 88 and those guys are sick of flying their rears off, and not having the ability to move days.

Yea 82hours since Nov 2008 is getting old... 7 months of this is burning me out really flipp'n quick.

But ALPA's solution will probly be to sign a LOA allowing more 76 seat RJs to replace 88's thus lowering the ALV....:rolleyes:

Nothing official, yet, good tremors though.

A slip I know but probably right anyway. Tremors before the freakin earthquake. The longer SOC takes the better for those of us that like our base/seniority.

If they're hell bent on moving massive amounts of equipment and people they may be making a big mistake. I would like to see some long-term planning and slow implementation instead of a knee-jerk reaction to the cause of the day. Trying to squeeze every last cent out of this merger before seeing the full economic picture will probably result in more costs. Take the massive reallocation to international just as we're realizing the domestic economy is less-bad than the international and should recover sooner. Also, disrupting the lives of a good portion the customer contact employee groups is not usually good for business.

Best guess is possible hiring next year.

Are they thinking 4th qtr? Or sooner for hiring?

As for DAL-N there are lots of plans for your jets in 12-36 months. No need to move people only to move them again.

Can you divulge? Or is just old news?(DC9s to ATL, 320s to SLC, etc)

Are you guys doing 82 hours hard flying a month? I don't think I've flown over 70 hard hours a month since I've been on the line at NWA. Hopefully you will be relieved of that soon, in a good way of course.;)

I know before this economic downturn and furloughs, guys on the 737 at CAL and UAL were getting flown 95 hours a month!!!

The August APA was just published, while it was small, it was nice to see return displacements. Hopefully, not much more backward movement.

Yes, hopefully we are done with that. I have a feeling when the 1st joint AE occurs there will be lots of movement, so I'd prefer to be settled for a little while.;)

We're in the 80s on the 73N also. ALV is 82 for May. Its been that way for a couple of months.

newKnow 04-20-2009 02:55 PM

I never see any rumors on where the 73N is going to go. All bases? Same Bases? No bases? I think I can name a rumor for every aircraft in the combined fleet except that one. I wonder why?
