The guys that are all excited about this aren't thinking critically.... or pessimissticly (how do you spell that?) if you prefer. Think about the law of unintended consequences. Trip parking is but one example of this. Sure.. swap with your buddies on the surface sounds like a good idea.. but look what the sharpshooters figured out. I have finally discovered that when the association brings us something that they tout as a good deal to look for the flaws, and in this case, I didn't have to look too far.

IMO, what they need to be doing instead of this is to fix the reserve system. And I have said this before, and I will say it again too. You want trips in my base? Put in an out of base WS/GS and best of luck.... or, bid it on the next AE. Not this... not now.. not ever.

When is he going to come back to verify that number? 87 seems very high.

I'll ask my question for the fourth time.

Maybe the fourth time's the charm

With all the posts sometimes you can miss a few. So I'll repost this exchange:

Oh, and how many hours was the average Delta pilot compensated last year? 87 hours per month.

Now that's a figure I've not seen anywhere. Where can I independently verify that number?

Well, from personal experience both with a line and on reserve for several years at DAL, either I'm a total loser or that's simply not true. I've only broken 87 a few times and NEVER on reserve. Me thinks he overestimates dramatically.

Nu, in my opinion, there's definitely some of that going on. Can't prove it, and don't really care to unearth it, but logic says that's happening.

Does anyone else notice when slowplay gets painted into a corner, he disappears, then pineappleguy will start posting, and when pinnapple gets in a tight spot he disappears then alfaromero starts posting, then, sailingfun, then back to slow......

I'm going to start calling them the Four Horsemen, but I really think its just one horse running around in a circle, really, really fast.

I'm tellin' ya. They are the same person!! :D
