Ftb, I've experienced the funbag restrictions. I was so excited when my wife gave birth and she grew two giant toys for daddy. Then junior had to hog the milk machines and the wifey was in so much pain that she set up a 30 mile no-fly zone around them.

And it can go on for years.

6 out of 10 men say brains more important than looks.

So only 4 out of 10 men are honest. :D

Hey you have to have chemistry, but if there is no relationship then chemistry will end probably within 6 months of marriage then the "chemistry chemistry" will end only to revived by the notion of "let's have a baby, it'll bring us together" and man says "that requires sex! yes! Wait? You're pregnant? You think you're sick? No sex? What?"... back to square 1 but this time with a baby.

You got to feel bad for the baby.

True, but the path to true happiness is dating someone who 1) makes more than you do, 2) kicks your a$$ at anything on the PS3, 3) pwns at World of Warcraft, 4) knows all the words to "Log" from Ren & Stimpy and 5) tells you what you are going to wear at DragonCon this year.

Hey... that was post #68000.....

I do. I'm based in Atlanta. I spend about $120-$200/month on rooms. It's cheaper than a crashpad. I also live where I can sit long call at home any time of the day with no problem.

Well, we flew a lot less international when you had 10 years in the company, we used international widebodies to fly ATL-MCO, and SC sucks on RES on the ER.

That is part of it, but not all. International used to be an even better place to hang your hat than now. You see we used to get international override even if it was a domestic leg, however with the gutting of our contract and the associated paycuts it payed more to stay senior in a domestic category than pull reserve (which used to be a way better deal, full by the 3rd week of the month) in an international category.

DragonCon is a riot.
The wife and I are admirers of the "steampunk" genre.
She loves the Victorian era clothes, art and culture. I like the alternate history, technology frozen in time aspect. Imagine a steam powered FMS or an "analog computer" and there you have it. (kinda like a DC-9)

Steampunk is getting a lot more popular every year at DragonCon.
So much room for creativity in one's costume.
Any idiot can come to the party as a Klingon or Storm Trooper. :)

There is even steampunk underboob:

Agree. Last year, there was a couple where one was dressed as a zombie , but the other had a rather complex costume as a Pea Shooter from Plants vs. Zombies (her costume was complete with a traffic cone hat).

It was freekin' brilliant and well executed.

Another guy came as the "Old Spice" guy, wearing nothing but a towel. THAT is something you don't just pull off...you need the bod for it.

The science and space tracks at DragonCon are really worthwhile. They had some heavy hitters from JPL and Johns Hopkins last year that were chock filled with good information on what was going on. These are the actual people flying probes through the Titanian atmosphere from a billion miles away, and if they screw up, pffftttt, there goes your multi billion dollar program.

I met the engineer who actually flew the Cassinni probe. She was really, really smart, and had the same, deadpan humor that I have. I have no doubt she could do triple integrals in her head....for fun.

One guy from JH did a deal about emerging diseases. WAY scarier than anything in the movies or TV.

All in all, a GREAT time.
