Could be mistaken, but I believe CAL has the 767-400 and the 767-300 as a common type. I've always wondered why we had it as two different categories, but then again maybe it's better that way.

CAL's 757s and 762s have the speed tapes and the FAA with that alone signs off single category. Our 757s are older. But when you see that new cockpit upgrade around the training center that they're thinking for the 757 (and 88) just know that as soon as they happens, 1 category will be implemented asap. |

Got final approaval to bid the 330 in ATL from my better half. It would need to go !mucho junior! for me to wind up with it, though.

I actually pretty content on M88 NYC, just figuring in the remote chance my seniority sits around the same percentile in one or more better paying categories might as well just let a VD carry me into it.
The 88B position in NYC has seemed understaffed lately, and I can see that probably carrying over after this bid until the newhires start up again. Either way I can see NYC getting more junior guys, who knows with these bids though. Last bid wasn't all that big and ended cause alot of movement, so who knows. The company is setting it up for hiring. In the interim line-holder count will go way down: "Once the slot swap goes through" LOL there will be mucho flying coming in at LGA, thus the staffing disparity. M88B went from 100 to 74 to 74 now to 68 M88A went from 95 to 72 to 91 and now 95 Cheers George |
Had BB on my flight to ATL yesterday and before I could get done saying hello, he said "sometime in 2012" to which I assume he was referring to hiring.
Take it for what it's worth. |
What is the max pickup when doing a pilot to pilot swap? I was under the impression that Green slips and pilot to pilot swaps do not impact your ALV plus 15 max pick up. My max pick up number changed when I swapped with a buddy.
