Nope 88, heard the 73 flying isn't the greatest, lots of red eyes apparently, never looked closely at it though.

Prefer to be senior reserve guy in between holding a line at best, was looking at VD or MD to 7er near 65% possibly, still pretty junior but you never know with these bids.

Anyone use Chrome as their browser? I use it mostly, but it does not play nice with iCrew. Any suggestions? I use Firefox and iCrewmax since Chrome doesn't play nice.

How does one MD or VD from 88 NYC to 765?

Three hour commute. Pict the poison:
  • MSP has 20 to 24 flights a day to NYC
  • MSP has 16 to 17 flights a day to ATL
  • ATL is very senior and getting more so
  • NYC is fairly junior
I'm with ACL that a number of MSP pilots are probably going to see NYC works better for them.

I'd agree if the person was senior. Below around 50% senority in base, I'm guessing going to be a lot of uncommutable domestic trips (ie, 0600 show in LGA, check-out at 2215 at LGA) or reserve. And the cheapest, decent hotels (nothing fancy, I'm talking 5 Towns or Sunrise) is in the $120 a night.

I actually pretty content on M88 NYC, just figuring in the remote chance my seniority sits around the same percentile in one or more better paying categories might as well just let a VD carry me into it.

The 88B position in NYC has seemed understaffed lately, and I can see that probably carrying over after this bid until the newhires start up again.

Either way I can see NYC getting more junior guys, who knows with these bids though. Last bid wasn't all that big and ended cause alot of movement, so who knows.

Could be mistaken, but I believe CAL has the 767-400 and the 767-300 as a common type. I've always wondered why we had it as two different categories, but then again maybe it's better that way.
