What? You know the "R&I guy?" ;)

It won't be official until we hear it from the "Communications guy". ;)

Yes. Be very careful. I had a very disappointing encounter with crew scheduling a few weeks ago. They were trying to play "gotcha" when I was clearly trying to help them out and do the right thing. Sadly, it appears to be a different mentality in crew scheduling these days. Be careful out there.

Just don't talk to them. Let them leave a message, acknowledge on a computer. If what you see on the computer is shennanigans, call someone like some sense, like a Duty Pilot or CPO.

One of the schedulers likes to curse and make very provocative statements. I simply wont talk to her and dawg gone'it, my cellphone always drops her calls. Going to have to have that thing checked ... . My keyboard also shorts out and puts APD days and pay back days in the middle of 9 days of availability. Don't know why that happens.

Delta is a great place to work. Even more so, if once you learn the rule that First Officers can exist quite happily while only conversing with those who either feed them, or who hold a valid ATP Certificate. Let the Captain deal with the bufoonery.

You have better data. I was just going off what a LCA told me the final numbers they were told this last weekend. 165 is still significant. Also, they told me that 700 FA's took the early out as well.

I know they do, I had a scheduler once say that they saw that I checked the vru but didn't acknowledge the trip. Kind of accusatory but I swear I had acknowledged. Of course I've been given a trip, talked to the scheduler who said he'd show me as acknowledged, I saw it on icrew as acknowledged and I still got a call at 11pm asking me to acknowledge it.

ok....take breath.....I just read the warning from the union about cp calls on sick time usage. I was not here in 03 when they say this last occurred, what good is the sick time we have if we are going to get hauled in for using it. Is it the number of sick calls....timing of them....using up all your time? What is getting their panties in a wad and calling guys in?

Sick Leave Monitoring Program?

Just reading over the Contract Awareness Bulletin regarding this new sick leave monitoring. Is it just me or is this more of the same philosophy that accompanied the commuter policy?

Is our sick abuse as a group so bad that they want to create an adversarial relationship over this? Most of us are big boys and girls that do not abuse it. I'd hate to see the "constructive engagement" era end because of perceived abuse by a few perceived bad apples.

Not a fan of this latest trend
