Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
But then they will say, if you send us back in there to renegotiate, it's the same as a no confidence vote to our MEC and the negotiators. And as such, we'll have to have new elections for all those positions. And you know how long THAT could take. Think of the "time value of money, hold your nose, and vote YES. We'll really get 'em next time."

I don't remember ever seeing an entire opening position being made public. Tidbits are usually let out, but that's it.
Well Carl, let's talk about selective responses, jeez! If Manager had mentioned LEC 20 FPL resolutions in the post I would have discussed it.
Oddly, you chose not to mention him hopping on the "rumor express" either, WHICH IS WHAT THE REFERENCED POSTS WERE DISCUSSING!!!
Grow up.

Don't think so. I said this because it is exactly what happened at NWA. Right down to saying that we'd have to have new elections. It was a good strategy for NWALPA. It scared a lot of people into voting YES.
We've had a point by point document showing exactly what we were asking for.

But TheManager did indeed mention it in his post. That's why I reposted it for you and bolded it. I'll do it again:
Since you didn't respond to that at all, I viewed you as selectively responding. If you didn't mean to do that, then I apologize for thinking you were selectively responding.

Apology accepted.
In summation of everything Carl and Shiz say to each other:
Carl: I want a better contract, ALPA can't get it done.
Shiz: I want a better contract, DPA can't get it done.
I just hope I can sling gear for you at least once after that dang fence comes down!!!(and I'm senior enough to bid it!
)
Take a look at UCAL. It might not be the entire opener, but it's pretty detailed. No, we probably won't see the whole thing, but you can bet there will be enough "strategic leaks" to get a picture of what's going on. Neither side will want us to see the whole picture, unfortunately.

Awesome resolutions passed in dtw, hopefully the mec takes it and realizes it's a serious issue.
7. No Scope Relief----That the Delta*MEC commits to not granting further scope relief, including in the upcoming contract negotiations. Passed
It had better not get to them and there be "no action taken"!!!!

The MEC might just make that policy. Pilots need to be SURE they make their wishes known in the contract survey.
