Now, why would ALPA not want E175s at mainline? Delta has 61 of those jets flying around, obviously Delta wants them.

Or the CRJ900? 101 of those out there.

Combined 162 of the 76 seat jets.

Just to be clear, there's 153 permitted 76 seat aircraft flying around the DCI system rightnow. I think you've included a few 170's in your number.

standby.... calculating... adding 0.... didn't need the zero... subtracting the zero... yep you're right.

153 76 seaters, 101 CRJ900s and 52 E175s.

There are 9 E170s right now and 11 to come and 78 CRJ700s.

btw, anyone have the 732 Delta Express pay in MCO?

On the north side we still had the b scale althou it was being phased out. I seem to remember 2 year pay at around 60 buck per hour. And the it ramped up to 107 per hour on the 9 in Jan 2001

Not true. The B scale went away while Leo the Ceo was lining his pockets.

Can you provide something other than your memory? I"ll post the contract language percentages tomorrow, Scam. You're wrong.

Yup. It was negotiated in 1996 and maxed out at 9 years the first year, increasing to 12 years at the amendable date. I think the peak rate was about $116/hr in that contract. SWA was paying $129 during the same time frame. Mainline 732 was signficantly more. I'll post the numbers tomorrow.

Not to mention, doesn't that effectively grant instant relief to the company from all our historic block times? Is the SWAA, err, I mean, the FAA, cool with this?

Think it will still be based on brake rel with the doors closed, the INS does not kick in until approx 3kts of movement. Gives a better picture as to ramp movement or non-movement (how screwed up it is). The union should also have a say in when the pay starts.

That's correct. You cannot do a domicile layover as a reserve. If that happens, the remainder of the trip goes into open time and is assigned using the same priorities as any other open trip.

Uggh, I guess I need to actually read the PWA, not just use it as a paperweight
