Dude,

I did 3 years of B scale. But, I also got bumped back to FO after 9/11 and watched RJ's take over the DC-9 routes I used to fly for the next 5 years before I could get back to the left seat.

I bet the guys who got furloughed would have taken a B scale RJ rate to stay a the mainline, too.

The more flying that is contained and controlled at the mainline, the less chance there is for whipsawing groups, right?

I'm completely opposed to b scale as well, but the reality is that we never got rid of it, we just turned it into a c scale and transferred the jobs to another company. Then we all voted to put our entire seniority list on a new b scale.

That is so true. Sailingfun just did ANOTHER 5 years on B-scale, and he doesn't even seem to know it!

Respectfully,

Still alive! I've been so busy that I've only been able to lurk.

Thanks for the concern though. :)

Wholly Crap! Didn't even think that might be Carl. I can guess that he was a friend of carl's so maybe he's a bit bummed and just doesn't feel like hanging on the internet.

I sure hope so! Hurry back greens keeper

Bryan was brand new to the 747 so I didn't get to meet him. Heard he was an awesome guy. Still pretty sick about it. Ive flown a lot of aerobatics in my time and this really gets you thinking. :(
