Some of our reps don't believe we are worth SWA rates. Remember, "we're not SWA, or Airtran!"

Direct quote or out of context second or third hand rumor? Either put up or shut up

You need to notify the company ASAP. Its odd to get a short notice jury duty summons so make sure you have a dated copy of the notice. The contract requires notification to the company as soon as you get the notice or you will not be paid. In the past they have always dropped the entire trip however nothing requires them to do that.

I have never heard a single rep say that. In fact the only guys I hear saying that are the DPA guys who keep repeating it but its always second or third hand. Give us names of the reps who said that so we can recall them.

I suppose the opener will determine who's telling the truth.

Hey, what do you know. You CAN link to it. At least at the end of the line is a rumor of a 717.

Yeah, if you are pretty senior and can get the good trips.

Should cause some good cascading in the right direction overall. Not sure how the 777 surplus will hit ATL though.

No, they are keeping is small to minimize the training footprint so they can get those sims moved. Next one should be the 365 and the closure of the DC-9. Read, a lot bigger, and they will publish it once the summer 2012 block hrs are known, and probably the slot swap decision.

I think we are underpaid. I know we will be paid well and our pay will increase because:

1) We are worth it.
2) The DAL pilots are fed up.

I was thinking. Does a SWA pilot really make more? or does a SWA pilot just fly a lot more in a day? I mean if I were to fly 90 hours a month efficiently then would my pay equate theirs?

**I never ever want to fly above 75 hours, ok maybe at most 80 . The trick is to get paid more and work less.

Just to add, it sounds like the 320 sims will be moving south first. Have to keep things spooled down as much as possible to facilitate the training center consolidation.
