I have trips on my schedule next month. All uncommutable on one end or the other, but they are trips none the less. That has never happened to me before.

Chuck;
Yes, the reps need to push harder, and they may, but for now the FPL committee is constantly presenting to the MEC, and eventually there will be a resolution to it. I want it too, but these guys are doing the best they can when they only discuss the issue once a quarter.

Agreed, what's the BFD. Don't publish it and everyone thinks the worst. Publish it an let the chips fall where they may.
I dont think anyone believes FPL in and of itself is a bad thing. It is FPL abuse that is the bad thing.

From: Going to hell in a bucket, but enjoying the ride .
Many years ago up on BOS, I had a friend who was a LEC rep. up there, and he "never flew" yet he always had an 85 hr. line (or more). At the time, he was not a line holder, but he would bid some of the worst trips as (high time) move ups, like two awful 4 day trips crammed together, get it, get an 85hr. line then drop both trips for 5 days of "office work". My wife would see him in the local coffee shop and ask me, "Why are you always gone, and he's NEVER gone?? And YOU are Senior to HIM!" (by quite a bit).
So after I checked his schedule and saw what he was doing, I called him and asked him about it. I think I said something like, "How do you 'represent' me, if you stay home and get 85 hours a month, and never fly any (crappy) trips??!!"
His answer: "The trips I drop, you might get on a Green Slip, so it's a good thing for the pilot group!"
Yeah...but he never flys, so he feels no 'pain' and when it comes time to ask for MORE, I doubt if his heart is really in it!

Weird, there was an X on NYC 7ER earlier, but couldn't get to the schedule, now there is no X
IMO, stocks are a waste these days. Sector stocks generally move with each other. However, there are certainly winners and losers with sectors. Personally, I'm a 3xETF investor. When you invest with etf's, you see market manipulation for what it is. When you invest in stocks, you are just manipulated.
I agree with you about ETF's, though. If I wasn't doing what I'm doing, I would be doing ETF's.
That's where your GS pay on reserve will show up.
You might have to wait until the trip is shown as "Closed" before the pay is correct, but only the first day will pay single pay above guarantee, the rest is straight credit towards guarantee.
Article in forbes says Virgin Atlantic is very close too announcing a alliance with the most likely scenerio of either United or Delta. For what its worth the so-called experts think it will be United.
