Now that you mention that, the only thing I can recall ever seeing regarding that from the portions of the CPA/ASA's that I've looked at merely say we are stuck with the lease payments...which we are paying 100% for anyway. What else besides costs that we're paying anyway would we have to pay?

And everyone realizes that we can't bring all of DCI back to mainline by the close of business 01-02-13 anyway.

The penalties for the latest 6 RAH jets they just signed onto they can eat out of their bonus checks, all 76 seaters turned into 70 seaters immediately (yay for capacity discipline!), a 20% 70 seater reduction per year after that and all agreement sunset after that. Somehow I don't think that will cost trillions in mafia loan paybacks like some seem to think.

I didn't know those carriers had new contracts yet. If they don't have new contracts yet, what did you expect? Should they have left those companies out of the comparison?

I used to deliver pizza in NE Scottsdale. I saw this woman's twin(s) while on a delivery. Needless to say, I drove off the road, up the sidewalk and just about hit a cactus. I didn't learn my lesson though. A few weeks later I saw a similar woman jogging. This time I drove in a ditch. Luckily pulled out of the ditch just before the next driveway!!

And it couldn't withstand the role ALPA's president plays in scrubbing our scope language.

This is of course only the case for those of us crippled by having an association with ALPA.

Carl, or could it be that the majority of pilots don't take orders from a minority of wrongheaded zealots making trying to make a irrelevant point?

If the DPA is worried about ALPA's "conflict" then they should have put the percentage into the territory where it would actually effect ALPA members. The Skywest pilots alone do 20% and ALPA does not represent them.

IMHO - pretty darn arrogant to be telling pilots how to respond on THEIR survey! But if you are going to tell them how to respond, at least make it a relevant figure. I like 1:):)%, at least for starters.

Just logged on to start my contract survey, and one of my secret logon words that I had to re-type to get into the survey was "knewno." how weird is that?

How about... All flying to be done by Delta pilots except those joint venture and codeshare agreements that were submitted to the pilot group at large and individually approved by a majority vote. Initial and renewal of these contracts require pilot group approval.

All contracts approved prior to the amendable date must be approved by pilot vote.

Hence, if these contracts are good for us... Prove it.
