Johnso29 & Lobo,

Wellllll........I've been re-educated!:D: According to the scheduler, it's because I'm in an international category. They can use me for an international trip but have to give me 24hrs before a domestic trip. I should be pretty safe with the coverage my category has.

I you believe the guidance and what the street is saying about 2011 profits, I would expect it to be about 50-60% of last years.

IAM claims of interference rejected by NMB. Delta now 3 for 3 wins vs. unions for interference claims. (Tech Ops, Flt attendants, and IAM).

Nycb 320

Just filled out my spreadsheet for what I can hold in each base, each aircraft. I noticed that the NCYB 320 went extremely low... I can hold 30% higher there than DTW320B, and 40% higher than MSP or SLC... and 64% higher than ATL320B!

This seems too be an anomaly... I notice that all the seniority numbers I can hold for a particular aircraft are usually within a 10% range, with NYC being lowest, then MSP, DTW, SLC, LAX, CVG, ATL, SEA (highest). However, in this new bid, NYC320B is way below everything else. Do folks think this is just people standing by to see how it shakes out and what the trips are like, then they'll bid into it? Or will NCY320B stay so junior, 30% below the next base (DTW) for a 10 year guy? Makes me almost willing to move to PA...

if you move up there I think you will have a career with great flexibility and always a measure of seniority others don't have. Most of us knuckle dragging Southerners are past refusal speed on this issue, but my money is on NY, NY, NY in the Delta lottery.

Most pilots have learned that unless you want to be on RSV for six months until they build a category, you wait until the next bid. Most want to see what the rotation makeup is, and then will jump on.

Thanks Denny. That was my only other guess. Good to know since I'm headed to 7ER training in Jan. :)
