1. Never tip in Japan. Even the bag thrower at the bus stop.
2. CVG got what they deserved (the City, not the base). The press was merciless in their treatment of Delta. No support for the home team. 3. I hate when I buy something with a visa (like a cup of Joe), and there is a line for a tip, for an establishment that only provides over the counter service. WAITERS work for tips, not cashiers. |

All CVG ever did was ***** about Delta. They also tried on several occasions to heavily tax jet fuel. Delta beat those tax grabs back by stating they would down size and move the flying and Ohio backed down. Every year it seemed they commissioned a study to put Delta in a bad light. I have no doubt that when decisions were being made in the GO about the future of post merger hubs the Ohio studies, general *****ing and tax grabs were not forgotten.

Does that pass muster with your own hiring board? If so, great - I can log all my legs after my downgrade as PIC - but I'm thinking they don't see it that way.
I dont know what the hiring board looks at. The discussion started with a do they type you, no they dont and why care about a type rating. I posted the gyst of the FAR/CVR interpretation. That was poo pooed, but it still is the interpretation. I guess we are back to why worry if they type you...a notch in the bedpost? |

Hi guys just FYI...... the City of Cincinnati and the state of Ohio have almost nothing to do with the airport. It is in Kenton County, Kentucky and it is controlled by the Kenton County Airport Board.

Thread Creep

Sorry for the thread creep, if that's possible on this thread. Maybe if I asked my question with a picture of underboob. ( :
OK - This is an oldie but a goodie - I originally posted it last year but it is worth repeating. Sorry for the thread creep! Sorry for the thread creep! What a preposterous statement. Thread creep to a post is like a genetic mutation to DNA - it is the vehicle that allows change, adaptation, evolution, and ultimately survival. Could this thread have survived if it was about one topic and one topic only? Would anyone want to read a "jillion" posts on one topic - it would be like homework. I say follow the thread wherever it takes us. Should it veer off course and take a detour not too popular amongst the regulars, say for instance a detailed discussion about the effectiveness of women’s hygiene products, it shall unerringly be brought back on course by some juicy rumor, some supposed outlandish management proclamation, or dare I say it - some Noble gesture of DALPA (think Scope). In a world without thread creep (said in that TV announcer guys voice) we would have thread stagnation. So do not bemoan the occasional humorous diversion, the seemingly unrelated sports bravado or the much too infrequent hot college babe pictures. Roll with it. Scoop Go Navy! |
Anyone think our profit sharing check will be close to what we got last year

Anybody see that last manadatory bulletin (dated today the 9th) on iCrew and know what it's about? I didn't hear about it.
